Youth Unemployment and Skills Gap
High youth unemployment remains one of the most pressing issues across Africa. According to the African Development Bank, youth unemployment in sub-Saharan Africa stands at 12.9%, with millions of young people either unemployed or underemployed. Despite Africa’s growing population, many young people lack the practical skills needed for sustainable employment.
Our skill acquisition programs are designed to bridge this gap by providing training in hands-on, marketable skills. For example, the International Labour Organization (ILO) reports that vocational training increases employment rates by 17-23%.
